3.7 Relating Fractions, Decimals and Percents

Focus: Relate percent to fractions and decimals.

Refer to "Explore" Activity on p. 111.
Using the colored puzzle, count how many squares each section (A - F) is made up of. Express this as a fraction of the total number of squares. (Hint: The Total is 100!)

Then express this fraction as a decimal and as a percent.
