2.1 Representing Integers

Focus: Use coloured tiles to represent integers

* An integer is a positive or negative whole number or 0.

* Tiles can be used to represent integers




* Together, a negative tile and a positive tile are a zero pair



* A zero pair cancels out...leaving zero!
